This hedge has been trimmed in the heat of summer. It is planted without a garden area underneath and is not mulched. It was not fertilized or sprayed by us.
This hedge will be trimmed when the sun is not as hot. The hedge is in a garden bed and is mulched below. It is fed with quality deep root fertilizer at least every other year. We monitor for insects and disease and is sprayed when necessary.
